Two weeks prior to event; follow up with speaker/2nd VP to verify contact information; register speaker; 10:30-11am arrival time; if screen and power are needed; additional guests charge & contact information for registration and advise to bring a projector if needed. Remind speaker of complimentary lunch and to eat early from 11-11:30. E-mail is send to all members at least one week prior to the event. If no screen, power or microphone needed; indicate on banquet order.
We suggest 10:30 a.m.-11 a.m. arrival time to set up computer and projector for power point presentation.
DCA does not provide a projector. If you need to borrow one, we may ask the members. The hotel charges $200 for a rental but 10 day prior request is needed (This should be a separate charge with the hotels Audio Visual Contractor that the speaker is responsible for payment. Please advise you don't need a screen and power strip. DCA pays the hotel for the screen, microphone and power strip set up. A podium and computer table are provided as well.
